New Mazda2

Overview
When they said good things come in small packages, they were naturally talking about Mazda2. Nimble handling and a lightweight body combine with the perky performance and fuel efficiency of a 1.5 litre 4-cylinder engine to provide a fantastic Zoom Zoom experience.
Available in either Hatch or Sedan, the Mazda2 provides the perfect answer. From the sporty and ultra-chic 5-door hatch to the stylish and sophisticated 4-door sedan, the Mazda2 is a real trend-setter.
Get up to speed with the latest safety technology. Mazda2's rigid occupant cell offers excellent protection and with up to six SRS airbags provides even more peace of mind. Combine this with advanced technologies such as Dynamic Stability Control across the range and you're in safe hands.

Handling
With a tiny turning circle of 9.8m, new Mazda2 manoeuvres with ease in car parks and zips around tight city streets with desirable style. The lightness and sporty design of the new Mazda2 makes it a beautiful ride. The Electronic Power Assist Steering (EPAS) system is the first of its kind to be used by Mazda and delivers precise handling.
Safety
Air bags
Front driver and passenger airbags come standard across the entire Mazda2 range. Side and curtain airbags (front and rear) are available as options for the Neo, and standard on the Maxx and Genki, both provide even greater safety benefits so you and your loved ones can drive with added peace of mind.
Anti-lock brakes
In the event of hard braking, the Mazda2 ABS braking system will stop you from skidding allowing you to maintain steering control. In addition to ABS, the Electronic Brake force Distribution system (EBD) distributes the braking force between front and rear.
Dynamic Stability Control
We know how important it is to feel safe. Our uncompromising approach results in standard Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) across the Mazda2 range. DSC helps the driver out of sticky situations where understeer or oversteer is detected.
MAIDAS
MAIDAS means Mazda Advanced Impact Distribution and Absorption System and is an important system that maintains the integrity of the occupant cell, reducing the risk of serious injury. Essentially, the body architecture features a 'Triple H' structure that protect, disperse and absorb impact in the case of an accident.
