Exterior

Alloy wheels

From the 15-inch wheels on Neo, right through to the bold 17-inch alloys on SP25, all wheels have been designed to complement the sportiness of Mazda3.

Body kit

With are front and rear bumpers, side skirts and a rear spoiler, the SP25 body kit adds extra dynamism and style.

Rear spoiler

A rear spoiler is another dynamic and sporty addition to the Mazda3.

Fog lamps

Regardless of the weather or driving conditions, fog lamps make driving safe and easy, as well as adding a sporty touch to the exterior design.

Sunroof

Air-conditioning

Air-conditioning with enhanced heating and cooling performance ensures a comfortable driving environment regardless of the conditions. And with dual-zone climate control now on Maxx Sport, Diesel and SP25, the driver and front passenger can individually set temperature to the ideal level.

Audio system

The crisp, clean sounds of Mazda3's audio systems provide the perfect soundtrack for every trip with six speakers, MP3/WMA compatible CD players and an auxiliary jack for your MP3 player. The SP25 Luxury further enhances the aural experience with a premium Bose 242-watt amplifier and 10 speakers (including subwoofer).

Bluetooth and cruise control

A multi-function steering wheel provides easy, convenient operation of audio, Bluetooth (model dependent) and cruise control, ensuring you can keep your hands on the wheel and eyes on the road. Bluetooth functionality even extends to wireless audio connectivity.

Gear shift paddles

With SP25's optional five-speed Activematic transmission, shift paddles put you in total control and provide the thrill of manual gear changes without needing to take your hands off the wheel.

Multi information display

All Mazda3 models feature an easy to read multi-information display. A host of useful information including ambient temperature, maintenance monitor and trip computer can be easily accessed by the driver via the steering wheel controls.

Satellite navigation

You'll never get lost again with satellite navigation on Mazda3 Maxx Sport, Diesel and SP25. Displayed through a colour LCD screen and controlled via the conveniently located steering wheel switches it is both simple and intuitive to use.

Performance

Engines

All petrol and diesel engines are specifically tuned to deliver spirited performance. An abundance of power and torque is available throughout the rev range with advanced technologies ensuring optimum drivability and excellent fuel economy.

Steering and handling

Mazda3 has further enhanced its acclaimed steering system, making it more rigid and improving steering feel. Tuning the system to engine speed improves the level of control and means the car goes exactly where you want.

Suspension

The Mazda3 range is equipped with MacPherson strut front and multilink rear suspension. With its linear handling response and excellent ride control, the Mazda3 delivers confidence-inspiring cornering while smoothing out the roughest of bumps. 

Every Mazda3 features a crisp-shifting 6-speed manual. An optional 5-speed Activematic (with pseudo-manual shift control) is available on all petrol models. The SP25's 5-speed Activematic adds steering wheel mounted paddle shift controls, putting swift changes at your fingertips.

Safety

Active head restraints

Front seats feature active head restraints designed to minimise whiplash in the event of a rear impact. As impact forces push the occupant into the seat back, the head restraint moves forward, minimising the distance the head travels before contacting it. The risk of neck injury is therefore dramatically reduced.

Airbags

Front, front side and curtain airbags are standard across the Mazda3 range. When combined with seatbelts featuring double pretensioners and load limiters, the risk of occupant injury in the event of an accident is significantly reduced.

Braking system

Key technologies such as an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Emergency Brake Assist (EBA) ensure class-leading braking performance for the Mazda3.

Dynamic Stability Control

An uncompromising approach to safety means Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) is standard across the Mazda3 range. DSC helps the driver out of sticky situations where understeer or oversteer is detected.

MAIDAS

The Mazda3's body architecture features a 'Triple H' structure that disperses frontal impact energy, a rear frame that maximises rear impact absorption and ultra strong cross members that protect against side impacts. The Mazda Advanced Impact Distribution and Absorption System (MAIDAS) maintains the integrity of the occupant cabin reducing the risk of serious injury.

Security

We understand just how much your investment means to you. Remote central locking and an engine immobilise across the Mazda3 range ensures that your investment remains secure. On the Mazda3 sedan, the remote control also features a boot release function.
